We are so excited for the Texas District Early Childhood Conference 2010. Our theme for this year’s conference is Fuel for the Future: Reconnect, Recharge, Reveal. As we have planned and prepared for this conference, we have truly felt the Spirit’s calling to address the issues that society and Christians are facing today.
We live in a fast-paced world with many expectations and demands to achieve success, fortune, and fame. Somehow we have gotten away from living life the way God intended us to and from seeing people as God’s children! As early childhood educators in Lutheran schools, we have such a unique opportunity, privilege, and responsibility to influence families. It is important for us to model Christian love and priorities and to help families understand and grow in their knowledge of what is truly important. From our lively keynote speaker, Mr. Gregg Catalano, to the inspiring worship, to the informative sectionals, and our surprise Saturday Event, we feel confident you will leave the conference reconnected with God, professionally recharged, and ready to reveal the love of Jesus to the young children and the families you serve as you are equipped with Fuel for the Future!
